Today, on the Sixth Sunday after the Holy Pentecost of the Holy Spirit, with ever greater humility in the Holy Spirit, first and foremost of my gauche clumsy wrecked maladroit mind, damaged by the continuous suicide attacks of the apes of all species, i will try to say few simple words, about the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, who will be celebrated on July 7, in-sync with the Julian Calendar (June 29).
Saint Apostle Peter the Great was the brother of Saint Apostle Andrew, the first called Disciple of Jesus Christ. Married, as Jesus Christ healed from fever his mother-in-law, was present and witness to many events, miracles and arguable the most representative of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ.
When Jesus Christ walked on water to the boat where His Disciples were fishing, during night time, and scared, they thought Jesus Christ was a ghost, (Saint) Peter asked Jesus Christ … ‘If is You, command and I will come to You on water…’ And Jesus Christ told (Saint) Peter : You can come.’ But while scared, he was drowning, (Saint) Peter asked Jesus Christ : I’m drowning, save me!’ Then Jesus Christ told (Saint) Peter: Try to swim, move your hands!…, and after that, Jesus Christ pulled (Saint) Peter out of the sea, and saved him.
Then it was Saint Peter, and his confession about Who Jesus Christ is, and how he recognized Him to be the Son of the Living God, the Rock, based on which testimony Jesus Christ founded the Holy Universal and Apostolic, against Which, not even the gates of hell will prevail, and Which Holy Church will stand firm until the end of time.
At some point, Jesus Christ asked His Apostles … ‘Who say the people that I may be?’, and they have answered ‘(Holy Prophet) Elihaj, or another Prophet of the old times.’, and then Jesus Christ asked them: ‘And you, Who do you think I am?’, and Saint Peter answered: ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God!!’ And Jesus Christ told Saint Peter … ‘Blessed are you, Peter, that not flesh and blood have discovered you this, but My Father in Heaven!’, and then told Saint Peter: ‘You are Peter, and This Rock I will build My Church, and not even the gates of hell will prevail against It!…’
Saint Peter recognized Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, the Rock on Which if somebody will fall, will be shattered, the Rock Which if will fall on somebody, will be smashed to pieces. And then, Jesus Christ has handed over to Saint Peter the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, the 7 Holy Mysteries of the Holy Spirit, the Confession, the Holy Communion, the Holy Orthodox Baptism, the Holy Anointing, the Holy Unction, the Holy Matrimony and the Ordination.
Saint Peter was one of the 3 Disciples Jesus Christ took with Him on Mount Tabor, at His Holy Transfiguration. It was Saint Peter who mesmerized by the Powerful Light, of the Divine Nature of the Only Begotten Word of God, babbling, as he was only able to see Jesus Christ, in dialogue with holy Prophet Moses, and with Holy Elihaj, confused and not knowing exactly what to say, told Jesus Christ … ‘Let’s make here 3 tents, one for You, one for Moses and one for Elihaj, and never return to Jerusalem…’
At the Last Supper, when Jesus Christ told them … ‘One of you will betray Me, and sell Me out!’, outraged, they all murmured and protested, and (Saint) Peter told Jesus Christ: ‘Even if everybody else will betray You, I will not betray You!’ But Jesus Christ answered (Saint) Peter … ‘Verily I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not sing 2 times, and you will betray Me 3 times…’
And after His Holy Resurrection, Jesus Christ asked Saint Peter: ‘Do you love Me, Peter?’, and Saint Peter answered: ‘Lord, You know that I love You!’, and Jesus Christ asked him … ‘Then be a shepherd to My sheep!’ And then again, the second time, and then again, for the third time, Jesus Christ asked Saint Peter: ‘Do you love Me, Peter?’, and Saint Peter, with his heart bittered, as he thought Jesus Christ doubted him, answered again: ‘Lord, You know that I love You!’, and then again for the third time, Jesus Christ asked Saint Peter: ‘Then be a shepherd to My sheep!’
To redeem the 3 times Saint Peter denied he knew Jesus Christ…
Then Saint Peter was martyred in Rome…Saint Apostle Paul the Astonishing was a jewish priest, who was heavily persecuting the christians, after the Holy Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Saul, by his former name, attended the martyrdom of Saint Stephen, the First holy Martyr and Archdeacon of Jerusalem, while Saint Stephen was stoned to death. (Saint) Paul was guarding the clothing of Saint Stephen, as Saint Stephen was stripped naked, to be martyred, and his clothing was donated to somebody else.
While he was on a trip to Damascus, Saul (Saint Paul) heard a voice from the skies … ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’, and fell blind on the ground. In Damascus, Saint Paul has converted, and he was baptized by Saint Ananias, one of the 70 holy Apostles of Jesus Christ. Saint Paul the Astonishing wrote many Epistles, which are now part of the New Testament…
Saint Apostle Peter the Great and Saint Apostle Paul the Astonishing are the forefathers of the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, founded by Jesus Christ Himself, the Godhead of the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, the manifestation of the Unoriginated and non-Created Kingdom of Heaven, until the end of time…
So help us, we the free world, Holy Trinity the Creator Almighty !!!…
