Today, in the Second Sunday of the Great Lent, with ever greater humility in the Holy Spirit, first and foremost, of my crippled wrecked maladroit clumsy gauche mind, following the continuous voodoo suicide of the apes, genuine britindians, niggers and all the other species, of the mutations, incarnations and followers of the demons, i would try to review briefly, in simple words, the book of Saint Gregory Palamas, to whom is dedicated this Sunday, which is actually the Volume 7 of the Philokalia series, about the Uncreated Energies of God the Holy Trinity, known also as the Divine Grace of God.
Saint Gregory Palamas is cheap skulk poxy squalor vulgar prim challenged by a catholic of his time, which almost attacked and doubted the practical purpose of the monastic community of Mount Athos, from the ignorant pseudoscientific position of that time, which doubted that the Sun is in the center of the Solar system, which was proven wrong, eventually, and which afterwards gave dystopian blight harry skulduggery offspring to the gregorian calendar, an expression of the filioque heresy.
Saint Gregory Palamas did not play along with that provocative attack, but answered with the most authentic dogmatic style, in the Holy Spirit, leaving to the Holy Orthodoxy, and to the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, a most precious heritage, the Dogma of the Uncreated Energies of God, which magnificent canonical grasp expression is unparalleled, and even if this dogma was not unknown, in the times before the Great Schism of 1054, when the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church was indeed One, and of Which was also part Rome and the entire realm of Saint Constantine the Great and the western Europe, Saint Gregory Palamas has thoroughly structured and constructed a systemic and elaborated, essential manifestation of this Dogma, that the catholic counterpart was simply left speechless, since Saint Gregory Palamas, if i could use a modern saying, was literally from a different league.
The Dogma of the Uncreated Energies of Holy Trinity the Creator is stating that the Divine Energies can be experienced through ascetic struggle, but the True Essence of God cannot be known. The Divine Grace of Holy Trinity can lead the monastic orthodox believer to become Consubstantial with the Unoriginated and non-Created Kingdom of Heaven, but this Divine Grace can never be exhausted, does not have an end, these Energies can be assimilated into ascetism, but the Divine Grace is Infinite, because is Uncreated, is the actual Divine Nature of Holy Trinity.
God is manifesting Himself through His Divine Grace, the only authentic way Holy Trinity can be known, but in the same time, God remains unknown. The expression of God’s Divine Grace is the blinding glistening Light of Jesus Christ on Mount Tabor, at His Holy Transfiguration, and not the empty wagering badger goading to nowhere, pseudo drudge doddle science, the catholic tried to persuade Saint Gregory Palamas, would be highly recommended to attain, in a pointless life spent in questioning God’s Creation, rather than finding God in His Creation.
The most eloquent manifestation of the Uncreated Energies of God, òr Works of God, is the presence of the Holy Spirit in the holy Relics of the Orthodox Saints. This presence of the Holy Spirit, which makes the Orthodox Saints not to rotten, not to be affected by time decay, and to be preserved unaltered, is the seal, the certificate of Orthodox authenticity, that the bodily and ascetic struggle is the imperial way to experience Holy Trinity the Creator, and His Divine Grace, to a degree according to the ascetic struggle employed by the true Orthodox seeker, and granted by God the Creator.
The morale of Saint Gregory Palamas is that pseudoscience is inevitably inflating the egocentrism, and is actually alienating astray from God, whereas the ascetism is the most solid way to find God, walking on the path set forth of the holy Orthodox Forefathers. Even if in our modern times ascetism is a chimera, virtually impossible, is highly recommended, mostly during the Great Lent, to stave off the attacks of the demons, to put a buffer between us, and the world, at least for a short while, and to encompass the body with a most necessary yoke, without which, spiritual chaos, apostasy and apocatastasis, takes over.
Try it, at least a bit, during the Great Lent, the results can be sometimes spectacular, and above all, trust me, you have nothing to lose. Like Eugene Rose used to say, if you sacrifice the mind curiosity, you lose nothing, but you can find everything…
