But at the Second Ecumenical Council at Constantinople, in 381, organized and supervised by Saint Theodosius the Great, it was added … ‘ ( We believe ) And in the Holy Spirit, True Lord and Giver of Life, Who Proceedeth from God the Mind and Father, Who with God the Mind, and God the Word, is worshipped and glorified, Who spake by the Prophets…’
It is paramount to emphasize on a string of critical decisions, throughout the Seven Ecumenical Councils, of the holy Orthodox Fathers, about the Consubstantiality of Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Word of God, with God the Mind and Father, which Consubstantiality was explicitly expressed in the Holy Orthodox Creed, to condemn mainly the arianism, but also the other heresies regarding the Person, or the Hypostasis of Jesus Christ, One of the Holy Trinity the Creator.
But has also emerged the obvious topic, about the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit, with God the Mind the Father. This Consubstantiality was addressed and added-on at the Sixth Ecumenical Council of Constantinople. By that time, Alexandria has ceased to adopt the decisions of the Seven Ecumenical Councils, from the Fourth, onwards, and after the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit was ratified at the Sixth Ecumenical Council at Constantinople, it was decided to be implemented by the 4 Churches of the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church left, Rome, Constantinople, Jerusalem and Antioch, after Alexandria has excluded itself from the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church.

This obvious Orthodox Dogma of the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit may have been introduced formally in the Holy Creed, in Jerusalem, but is not clear why Constantinople has not taken specific steps in these regards. There is a very specific mention about the Consubstantiality of Jesus Christ, at the Sixth Ecumenical Council of Constantinople, ‘with us’, obviously, only with the Orthodox of the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, not with the apes, the pagans or with the heretics, of course, but it was not added formally in the Holy Orthodox Creed, not to overload too much the Article of the Holy Creed, about Jesus Christ.
But the resolution about the Consubstantiality about the Holy Spirit, with God the Mind and Father is beyond any reasonable doubt, and in the logic of the upscale from the First Ecumenical Council, to the Second Ecumenical Council. The Dogma of the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit with God the Mind was supposed to be adopted formally, independently and unilateral, by the 4 Churches left, forming the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, but only the Church, or churches in Jerusalem have briefly and formally adopted and implemented in the Holy Orthodox Creed, the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit, with God the Mind and Father.
After the Great Schism of 1054, Constantinople went even further and added in the Holy Creed, briefly again, ‘ (We believe) And in the Holy Spirit, True Lord and Giver of Life, Who Proceedeth from God the Mind Only … ‘, to offset and counter the filioque heresy, therefore, even nowadays, can be used the word ‘Only’, when it comes the Proceeding of the Holy Spirit, from God the Mind.
But it seems no pseudo-christian assimilated church nowadays has preserved in their Creed, catholic or heterodox, the Dogma of the Consubstantiality of the Holy Spirit, with God the Mind and Father. To be true Orthodox nowadays, in the Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, is quintessential to confess, affirm and proclaim, as a testimony of the Holy Orthodox Faith, that the Holy Spirit is Consubstantial with God the Mind.
If this would have been formally adopted, probably filioque would not have been ever adopted!… To be continued…
